Pharmacy Director

Our client, a facility in the Quad Cities area of IL, has a need for a Pharmacy Director to join their team. They are willing to consider candidates from hospital, retail, grocery, etc. Candidates MUST have the IL license.

• This is a working Director position, so will work as a Pharmacist and Director
• Position is part of the Senior Team and reports to the CEO
• Pharmacy Hours: M-F 8:30am to 4:30pm and then remote after 7pm
• Saturday is 8am – 12pm and Sunday is remote until 1pm
• 4 direct reports – 1FT and PT Pharmacist and 2 PRN Pharmacist
• Position works every other weekend
• Medical dispense system: Pyxis

Qualifications:

• S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy Required
• Knowledgeable and proficient in the legal responsibilities of the pharmacist to the facility and all state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services Required
• Knowledge of pathophysiology, interpretation of diagnostic criteria, pharmacokinetics and pharmacotherapeutics as well as the use and application of new medications and technology Required
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Current Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy Required
• Controlled Substance License in good standing with appropriate State Board of Pharmacy if applicable
