Our client, a midsized hospital located NW AL, near Lexington, AL along the TN border, has a need for a Director of Emergency Services to join their team.

The **Director of Nursing **provides strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of the Emergency Services. You will be accountable for designing and implementing innovative programs, improving patient outcomes, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care across the continuum. As the Director, you will collaborate with providers, staff, and leadership to elevate clinical performance and patient experience.





- Serve as the **accountable leader** for all aspects of Emergency Services.

- Drive **continuous improvement** in outcomes, cost of care, and patient satisfaction.

- Partner with quality leadership to ensure compliance with **accreditation standards** and advance toward becoming a highly reliable organization.

- Collaborate with other service line leaders, facility leadership, and system executives to provide **consistent, patient-centered care.**

- Support provider and staff **recruitment, retention, and engagement.**

- Demonstrate values through **inspirational leadership** and a commitment to patient-centered outcomes.

- **Collaboration:** Partner with physicians, advanced practice providers, and hospital leadership to enhance care coordination, patient experience, and service delivery.

- Oversees ongoing staff education, competency, and adherence to clinical and patient safety standards.

**QUALIFICATIONS**





- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) 

- Current Alabama RN license (or eligible for licensure).

- A minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience in Emergency Services

- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships team

- Experience with budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation in acute care settings.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement performance-improvement initiatives.

- BLS and ACLS required (or obtained within a defined timeframe)
