## Description

Our client, a large hospital located near Charlotte, NC, has a need for a Rad Tech to join their team. Sorry, no new grads.

**Shifts Available:**
Weekend Days 7:00a- 7:00p (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday).
Tuesday-Friday 1:00P-11:30p or 4/10's Mon-Thurs 2pm to 12:30am



**They are offering a** **Sign on bonus of $15k and Relocation up to $10k**




Performs radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of the Radiologist. Coordinates daily activities to include performing examinations and associated clerical duties.

**Major Responsibilities **





- Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.





- Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.





- Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.





- Prepares and administers contrast media as required.





- Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.





- Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.





- Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.

**Minimum Job Requirements**


**Education**


Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology.


**Certification / License**


Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. CPR certification required.
