About You
- Be able to do the job as described
- Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Clinical Nurse Specialist with 1+ years of APP experience
- Must have Research and Oncology experience
- Phase 1 studies a plus
- Virginia license, BLS, DEA
- Passion for innovation, patient education, and collaborative care
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and implement care plans within protocol
- Prescribe treatments and medications in alignment with research study parameters
- Support physicians during procedures and clinical research evaluations
- Educate patients and families on trial participation and treatment options
- Serve as a resource for nursing staff and provide staff education on ongoing studies
- Integrate research findings into everyday clinical practice and improve care delivery
