The Surgical Technologist, Sr. Service Rep is a highly skilled allied health professional and an essential part of the surgical care team, supporting patients across the lifespan—from infancy to geriatrics—while playing a critical role in delivering exceptional surgical outcomes.

Under the direction of a surgeon or registered nurse, this role ensures a safe, efficient, and fully prepared operating room by maintaining equipment readiness, verifying surgical needs, and upholding the highest standards of patient safety. Leveraging advanced expertise in sterile and aseptic technique, along with deep knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and instrumentation, this position anticipates the needs of the surgical team and supports invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with precision and confidence, contributing directly to seamless OR performance and outstanding patient care.

In this dynamic liaison role between the OR and Sterile Processing, generally no scrubbing. However, you’ll be on the move—rounding in the OR each morning to ensure cases are fully equipped, opening trays and supplies as needed, and responding throughout the day to real-time surgical needs.

You’ll collaborate closely with surgeons and OR teams to troubleshoot instrumentation issues, support specialty requests, and maintain workflow efficiency, while also owning key operational responsibilities such as building, auditing, and maintaining General, Robotic, and major urology trays.

From reviewing upcoming surgical schedules to prevent conflicts, ordering and managing instruments, and utilizing the SPM tracking system to create and update count sheets, to supporting four robotic systems (1 DV5 and 3 XI) by managing instrumentation lifecycles and ensuring compliance with Instructions for Use (IFU), this role blends clinical expertise with operational leadership—making you a vital force in keeping surgeries running smoothly and successfully every day.
