Our client, a health system in the Boston, MA area, has a need for CT Techs to join their team.
$15,000 sign on bonus for FT positions; $5,000 relocation assistance possible
Please note that this is a union position and hourly rates depends on the years of experience on the union scale.
FT opportunities are available at all three locations-Boston, MA, Brockton, MA, and Brockton, MA.
FT hours are available with preference for evenings/nights/weekends. 3, 12 hour shifts are available.
Under the general supervision of the CT Manager/Radiology Manager, The CT Technologist provides CT skills and initiatives to the department mission through interactions with staff, and others as necessary. Primary duties are to work as a Technologist while also implementing policy and procedures as determined necessary through CT Scan Supervisor and Radiology Administrative Director.
Work requires knowledge of principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology and CT and the operation and maintenance of Radiologic equipment generally acquired through the completion of two years post-high school training in an approved school of radiologic technology. Other in-house and on-the-job training also required. AART required with CT designation. Work requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and all/any apprehensions, to instruct students and to provide technical supervision to staff technologists. State license required and all applicable radiology education requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- ARRT required with CT designation
- BLS certification is required
- Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Must be licensed by the State of Massachusetts in Radiography.
